If you feel you are running out of steam without your afternoon latte, reach for a water bottle or do some gentle stretches. While you are at it, try to avoid sweetened beverages, such as fruit drinks and sodas, past lunchtime, which can interfere with sleep quality.

Go for citrus instead.

Keep cuties or mandarins on hand as a snack to help combat that afternoon slump in a healthy way.
